In this scenario, it emerged how cyber risk now extends across all steps of the industrial lifecycle \u2013 from component development to system integration and operational management \u2013 requiring an integrated and continuous approach to security, capable of going beyond traditional perimeter-based models and enabling the protection of the entire industrial ecosystem and supply chain. Compliance with the new requirements entails investments in technologies, skills and processes, but also represents an opportunity to strengthen resilience and improve risk management in the medium to long term.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To address these challenges, Siemens presented its industrial cybersecurity portfolio, which integrates solutions for vulnerability management, network segmentation and secure remote access. These include SINEC software for monitoring security posture, SCALANCE hardware for network protection, SINEMA Remote Connect for remote access, and SINEC Secure Connect, based on a Zero Trust paradigm for secure OT connectivity. These technologies are part of an integrated approach that combines assessment, governance and managed security services, supported by OT SOC and cyber threat intelligence platforms.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe increasing exposure of industrial infrastructures to cyber threats and the introduction of the NIS2 Directive make cybersecurity a strategic element for the competitiveness of the industrial system,\u201d<\/em> Siemens stated during the event.<em> \u201cSiemens works to support companies along this journey by offering integrated solutions that combine advanced technologies and specialized expertise, with the aim of building increasingly secure, resilient and sustainable industrial ecosystems.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>During the Summit, data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/clusit.it\/rapporto-clusit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Clusit Report 2026<\/a> were also presented,<strong> including a contribution by HWG Sababa based on various industrial contexts analyzed between October 2024 and October 2025.<\/strong> The findings provide a picture of still uneven maturity, confirming the need for a paradigm shift \u2013 in line with the NIS2 Directive \u2013 towards more proactive models based on prevention, continuous monitoring and integrated risk governance. Building on these insights, HWG Sababa presented its contribution through the Y Cyber Business Unit, dedicated to industrial cybersecurity, showcasing several experiences supporting organizations in strengthening OT system security.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCybersecurity in the OT domain is now an increasingly strategic element: to be truly effective, it must extend to the entire ecosystem, covering all phases of the lifecycle and the supply chain,\u201d<\/em> HWG Sababa commented during the OT Resilience Summit. \u201c<em>It is no longer about protecting a single plant, but the entire value chain. This growing need is also confirmed by the findings of our OT cybersecurity analysis included in the Clusit Report 2026. The analysis highlights a greater awareness of the importance of OT cybersecurity, but the path toward widespread and effective implementation is still long. Through our <a href=\"https:\/\/y-cyber.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Y Cyber<\/strong><\/a> business unit, we adopt an integrated approach that combines assessment, managed services and cyber intelligence, with the goal of supporting organizations both in complying with the NIS2 Directive and in strengthening operational resilience.
