Genoa, 9 June 2026 – HWG Sababa has joined the Memorandum of Understanding “Genova Capital of High Performance Computing & the AI Factory for Research in Industrial, Port and Biomedical Fields”, an initiative that brings together institutions, universities, research centers and companies with the aim of strengthening the role of Genova and Liguria as a national and European hub for supercomputing, artificial intelligence and data valorization.
This participation is part of a broader project designed to bring together expertise, infrastructure and innovation capabilities to accelerate the technological and industrial growth of the region. In this context, HWG Sababa aims to contribute its experience in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection and digital risk management.
HWG Sababa further strengthens its role as a key player in Liguria’s digitalization, a strategic region where the company is already present with an office in Genova and actively participates in initiatives within the Ligurian digital ecosystem, including its collaboration with the START 4.0 Competence Center.
The initiative confirms HWG Sababa’s commitment to actively contributing to the development of an open and collaborative ecosystem, capable of fostering synergies between research, business and institutions, while strengthening Genova’s role as a center of excellence for digital innovation and advanced data management.
