HWG Sababa Accredited as a Testing Laboratory (LAP) by the National Cybersecurity Agency

Milan, 7 May 2026 – HWG Sababa, an Italian company providing managed services, strategic solutions and cybersecurity consulting, announces that it has obtained accreditation as an Accredited Testing Laboratory (LAP) from the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN).

This recognition marks a particularly significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and confirms its positioning as a trusted partner for the country’s digital security. The accreditation certifies HWG Sababa’s ability to operate according to the highest technical, organisational and quality standards required at national level, contributing to the protection of specific categories of hardware and software components included in the networks and information systems of entities within the National Cybersecurity Perimeter.

This achievement is the result of a demanding process that involved significant investment in skills, processes and technologies. A key role was played by a highly specialised team of engineers and technicians, who worked on implementing advanced security testing and assessment methodologies adopted by the CVCN.

As an ACN-accredited laboratory, HWG Sababa is now authorised to carry out technical security testing, vulnerability analysis, ICT technology assessment and support the State in protecting essential services. The laboratory operates according to stringent requirements defined by ACN, ensuring independence, reliability and traceability across testing processes.

Joining the group of accredited laboratories in Italy further strengthens HWG Sababa’s role within the national cybersecurity ecosystem, contributing to the development of an increasingly robust security framework and, looking ahead, supporting the full implementation of European cybersecurity directives.
